This Privacy Policy ("Policy”) sets out the basis on which Audi Singapore Pte. Ltd. (“we”, “us”, or “our”) may collect, use, disclose or otherwise process personal data of visitors of the website shopaudi.sg ("Website") in compliance with the Singapore Personal Data Protection Act (“PDPA”).

I. Terminology
1. As used in this Policy, “personal data” means data, whether true or not, about an individual who can be identified (a) solely from that data; or (b) from that data and other information to which we have or are likely to have access.
2. Other terms used in this Policy shall have the meanings given to them in the PDPA (where the context so permits).
II. Collection, use and disclosure of personal data
1. Depending on the nature of your interaction with us, personal data which we may collect from you may include:
a) your name;
b) your age;
c) your eligibility to drive in Singapore;
d) your contact information (such as your address, email address or mobile number);
e) information about any vehicles you already own; and
f) data that your internet browser transmits to us and information that is transmitted to us through cookies and/or other means of information technology.
2. We generally do not collect your personal data unless
a) it is provided to us voluntarily by you directly or via a third party who has been duly authorised by you to disclose your personal data to us (your “authorised representative”) after (i) you (or your authorised representative) have been notified of the purposes for which the data is collected, and (ii) you (or your authorised representative) have provided consent to the collection and usage of your personal data for those purposes;
b) without explicitly declaring your consent, you voluntarily provide the personal data to us for a purpose and it is also reasonable that you would voluntarily provide the data; or
c) the collection and use of your personal data without your consent is permitted or required by the PDPA or other applicable laws.
3. We may collect and use your personal data for any or all of the following purposes:
a) Sharing administrative information with you, such as changes to our terms, conditions, and policies;
b) Sharing safety-related information about your vehicle;
c) Enabling and optimization of your use of the Website and its technical functions;
d) the statistical analysis of your use of the Website (please see also clause II(6) below);
e) the creation of a myAudiworld account on the Website;
f) recording your interest in any particular vehicle and making arrangements to notify you of updates to the availability of the vehicle;
g) making arrangements for test-drives;
h) making arrangements for expert appointments;
i) to complete your purchase of a vehicle on the Website, including the registration of the vehicle and the application for COE;
j) to process your payment;
k) to assist in your application for financing, insurance and/or trade-in in connection with your purchase of a vehicle on the Website;
l) responding to, handling, and processing queries, requests, applications, complaints, and feedback from you;
m) managing your relationship with us;
n) if you have specifically provided your consent to being contacted for marketing purposes, to contacting you for marketing purposes, including the provision of information about our goods or services, marketing events, initiatives and promotions, lucky draws, membership and rewards schemes and other promotions;
o) conducting research, surveys and obtain your feedback;
p) processing, assisting and providing related customer support;
q) understanding, triaging, and fixing issues or concerns with products and services
r) conducting research, develop and promote new products and services, and to improve or modify our existing services
s) for business purposes such as data analytics, audits, fraud monitoring and prevention, business planning, determining effectiveness of campaigns, reporting, and forecasting
t) establishing, exercising, or defending legal claims
u) complying with any applicable laws, regulations, codes of practice, guidelines, or rules, or to assist in law enforcement and investigations conducted by any governmental and/or regulatory authority;
v) any other purposes for which you provide us with your personal data;
w) transmission to any affiliated or unaffiliated third parties including our third party service providers and agents, and relevant governmental and/or regulatory authorities, whether in Singapore or abroad, for the aforementioned purposes; and
x) any other incidental business purposes related to or in connection with the above.
4. We may disclose your personal data to third party service providers, agents and other organisations with whom we collaborate or whom we have engaged to perform any of the functions listed in clause II(3) above.

6. On our Website we may use third party web analysis services , which uses so-called "cookies", i.e. text files placed on your computer, enabling an analysis of the use of the website by you. The information generated by the cookie about your use of our Website is usually transferred to the third party and stored there. On our behalf, such third party will use this information to evaluate your use of the Website, to compile reports on Website activities and to provide us with other services relating to your use of the Website and the internet. III. Specific cases of collection, use and disclosure of personal data
1. In addition to the general regime of collection, use and disclosure of your personal data as set out in clause II, in specific cases (based on the appropriate section of the Website you are using), some additional provisions may apply in our collection, use and disclose your personal data, such as in case of:
a) Registration for Events
b) Offer to purchase of a vehicle
c) Test Drives
Registration for Events
2. You may be required to furnish information about yourself when you register to attend events, whether or not linked to the myAudiworld membership (“Event”).
3. If you register guests to attend any Event organized by us ("Event Guests"), we may collect information on your Event Guests as well. You are responsible to ensure that Event Guests agree to the release, storage and use of their personal data in this regard and warrant such consent by disclosing the personal data relating to your Event Guest on the Website.
4. If you attend any Event, we may collect personal data from you and your Event Guests . The categories of personal data include interviews, audio recordings, visual recordings and photographs (whether on our own or by appointed service provided). By attending the Event, you consent to the collection of such information. You are responsible to ensure that Event Guests agree to the release, storage and use of their personal data in this regard and warrant such consent by enabling that Event Guest to attend the Event.
Offer to Purchase a Vehicle
5. If you offer to purchase a vehicle though the Website, we will collect personal data including your residential address, your credit card details, These categories of personal data are required for us to register the vehicle and to process payment of your deposit.
6. If you indicate that you are seeking options for financing, a trade-in and/or insurance, we will disclose your personal data to the relevant financial institutions and/or our business partners which provide the relevant services. You may be contacted by such parties in connection with the financing, trade-in and/or insurance.
Test Drives
7. If you register for a test drive, we will collect personal data including your residential address, contact info. These categories of personal data are required for us to verify your driving eligibility to be able to take the test drive.
IV. Withdrawing your consent
1. The consent that you provide for the collection, use and disclosure of your personal data will remain valid until such time it is being withdrawn by you in writing. You may withdraw your consent and request us to stop using and/or disclosing your personal data for any or all of the purposes listed above by submitting your request via email to our Data Protection Officer via the contact details provided in clause X. below.
2. Upon receipt of your written request to withdraw your consent, we may require reasonable time (depending on the complexity of the request and its impact on our relationship with you) for your request to be processed and for us to notify you of the consequences of us acceding to the same, including any legal consequences which may affect your rights and liabilities to us. In general, we shall seek to process your request within ten (10) business days of receiving it.
3. Whilst we respect your decision to withdraw your consent, please note that depending on the nature and scope of your request, we may not be in a position to continue providing our goods or services to you and we shall, in such circumstances, notify you before completing the processing of your request. Should you decide to cancel your withdrawal of consent, please inform us in writing in the manner described in clause IV.1. above.
4. Please note that withdrawing consent does not affect our right to continue to collect, use and disclose personal data where such collection, use and disclose without your consent is permitted or required under the applicable laws.
V. Access to and correction of personal data
1. If you wish to make (a) an access request for access to a copy of the personal data which we hold about you or information about the ways in which we use or disclose your personal data, or (b) a correction request to correct or update any of your personal data which we hold about you, you may submit your request via email to our Data Protection Officer via the contact details provided in clause X below.
2. Please note that a reasonable fee may be charged for an access request. If so, we will inform you of the fee before processing your request.
3. We will respond to your request as soon as reasonably possible. Should we not be able to respond to your request within thirty (30) days after receiving your request, we will inform you in writing within thirty (30) days of the time by which we will be able to respond to your request. If we are unable to provide you with any personal data or to make a correction requested by you, we shall generally inform you of the reasons why we are unable to do so (except where we are not required to do so under the PDPA).
4. This Website is not aimed at minors (according to applicable laws) and we do not collect any personal data of any minor deliberately. Nonetheless, we are not able to distinguish the age of persons accessing our Website. If a minor has provided personal data to us, his/her parent or guardian is requested to contact us for the deletion of such personal data.
VI. Protection of personal data
1. To safeguard your personal data from unauthorised access, collection, use, disclosure, copying, modification, disposal or similar risks, we have introduced appropriate administrative, physical and technical measures. You should be aware, however, that no method of transmission over the internet or method of electronic storage is completely secure. While security cannot be guaranteed, we strive to protect the security of your information and are constantly reviewing and enhancing our information security measures.
VII. Accuracy of personal data
1. We generally rely on personal data provided by you (or your authorised representative). In order to ensure that your personal data is current, complete and accurate, please update us if there are changes to your personal data by informing our Data Protection Officer via email via the contact details provided in clause X. below
VIII. Retention of personal data
1. We may retain your personal data for as long as it is necessary to fulfil the purpose for which it was collected, or as required or permitted by the applicable laws.
2. We will cease to retain your personal data, or remove the means by which the data can be associated with you, as soon as it is reasonable to assume that such retention no longer serves the purpose for which the personal data was collected, and is no longer necessary for legal or business purposes.
IX. Transfers of personal data outside of Singapore
1. Unless stated differently in this Policy, we generally do not transfer your personal data to countries outside of Singapore. However, if we do so, we will take steps to ensure that your personal data continues to receive a standard of protection that is at least comparable to that provided under the PDPA.

1. We use 'cookies' to collect information on our Website.
